Overview

Before they’re nose down in text books, actively taking notes in lecture suites and living off noodles and goon, the students of Auckland Uni will be the given the chance to cut loose on campus.

To mark the beginning of the first semester, a line-up of classic Kiwi acts are set to take the stage at refurbished student drinking spot Vesbar, including: Wellington roots band The Black Seeds, Auckland rapper David Dallas and Hamilton reggae favourites Katchafire. The gig is part of a week-long orientation run by the Auckland Students Movement (AuSM), which also features a foam party, a comedy night and a carnival.

Civilians, and those who would still like to live the student life, can also buy tickets.
