Home Cookery Expo The Food Show Returns to ASB Showgrounds
Four days of food worship and free samples.
Off the back of an appearance in the Capital, home cookery expo The Food Show will roll into Auckland's ASB Showgrounds for four days of food worship.
Vegan and gluten-free advocate Emma Galloway and Pacific Island cuisine enthusiast Robert Oliver are set to headline this year's cooking demonstration workshops in the dramatically titled Whirlpool Cooking Theatre. The pair will swap out their pots and pans with fellow food celebs Simon Gault, Annabelle White, Ray McVinnie, Kyle Street, Josh Emett, Chelsea Winter and Sachie Nomura to share new flavour discoveries and the latest food trends.
Those looking for a handout will be pleased to know that 260 exhibitors are expected to showcase their wares at this year's event. At the ready with free samples will be coconut creamery Little Island, Mahurangi Oysters, brewing by-product cracker makers Mash Tun and edible bug company Crawlers, among plenty of others.
Further delicious treats will be on offer courtesy of Street Food Alley bringing together a selection of local street food vendors. Vendors include: Akemi's Gyoza, Good George Brewing, Rack n Roll Ribs and Minty B Ice Cream. The Cigna Healthy Hub will be the go-to for gluten free, organic and clean food options and will assist those looking for more information about food allergies.
The Food Show will take place at ASB Showgrounds from 28 – 31 July. For more information and tickets, visit foodshow.co.nz
