My Food Bag Is Handing Out Free Meals This Afternoon
To celebrate the company's new ready-made, heat and eat dinner offering.
It's likely that you or someone you know has already tried My Food Bag. Led by chef personality Nadia Lim, the meal kit service has delivered nearly 50 million dinners across New Zealand since it started in 2013. It's now the third largest food retailer in the country.
In celebration of the company's new ready-made, heat-and-eat dinner offering, MADE, Lim is hosting a pop-up drive thru with free meals.
From 4pm on Monday, 24 June, the My Food Bag pop-up drive thru will inhabit the Mt Albert Markets site in Mount Albert to serve up free meals to the first 1000 Aucklanders who visit. Lim will be manning the pickup window and there will be one dish available per person while stocks last. There will be a choice of four dishes from the new range including chicken korma, beef stroganoff, lamb moussaka and pumpkin tagine.
The My Food Bag drive thru pop-up will take place at Mt Albert Markets, 847 New North Rd, Mount Albert from 4pm, Monday 24 June.
