Apart from being Perth's leading independent rock 'n' roll venue — with acts like Tame Impala, Sarah Blasko, You Am I, Meg Mac, Dinosaur Jr and Bernard Fanning gracing its stage — the Rosemount Hotel boasts an incredibly innovative and thoughtful layout. Along with state-of-the-art band rooms, it has a newly renovated beer garden (one of Perth's best), a cocktail bar and a series of conversation nooks called The Labyrinth.
The food menu is exactly what you want after you've worked up an appetite listening to all that live music — pub classics, American comfort food (think southern fried chicken and wings) and an extensive selection of pizzas. The bar serves a great mix of international and local beers on tap as well as much-loved espresso 'jartinis'.
