Overview

If you're going to spell out 'sports bar' in your venue's name — you best not disappoint. Punters will want the full sports bar experience. You'll need to be the best sports bar you can be, the best sports bar there is. Well, The Game Sports Bar, within the Aberdeen Hotel, certainly has that competitive spirit. It's here that you'll find the biggest screen in Perth. And it's just one among more than 35 sports-dedicated TVs.

Whatever the source of your mania — be it NRL, AFL, basketball or cricket — you can pretty much expect a live stream. And, if you're keen to escape the crowd, find a bunch of mates and book a booth for a private viewing experience.

The venue exudes an authentic sports bar aesthetic, with exposed brick, neon lights and sporting memorabilia. It also has an enclosed outdoor terrace and garden bar that can accommodate up to 150 guests — ideal if all that screen time has gone to your head and you need some air to refresh.

The menu is packed with American-style snacks like mac and cheese doughnuts ($9), jalapeno poppers ($8) and pulled pork spring rolls ($9) — perfect to nibble while watching the game. If you're after something more substantial, there are also burgers, hot dogs and sandwiches, while an ample selection of beer and wine keeps the good times rolling, win or lose.
