Gin and sunshine go together like cheese and crackers. It's a pairing so perfect that nobody is really sure where it came from. We just know it works. It makes sense to celebrate all things gin as we approach the warmer season, which is why Four Pillars Gin has organised a whole month of events at the Federal Hotel as part of a new event series — Gin Tins & Tunes.

This national series of events taking place across October is putting tins in hands and smiles on faces. The WA outpost of the series is Federal Hotel in Fremantle, the beloved heritage pub with a busy lineup of food, drinks and events like this one year-round. Gin Tins & Tunes is calling the Federal home from Sunday, October 1 and runs weekly on Sundays until October 22.

At Federal's Sunday sessions, you'll get the chance to enjoy the new gin drink — styled as a gin mule in a can — and enjoy a wide roster of local musical talent. That talent includes DJ Aslan (Sunday, October 1), Alex Taylor (October 8), Angie — Sunset Waves (October 15), Ben Renna and Dom Marcell (October 22) and DJ Aslan alongside Adam Clayton for a Halloween Party on October 29. Plus, you should keep your eyes peeled for a chance to grab a very stylish and sun-safe Four Pillars Bucket Hat every week.
