Rising earlier than most of us would want to, dishing out precious coffee and breakfast/lunch choices to get you fuelled for the day ahead — it's easy enough to say thanks to legends behind your local when you order, but thanks to Aussie coffee experts Toby's Estate, there's another way give back to your favourite cafe.
It's all thanks to Octobysfest Local Legends, an initiative from the team at Toby's Estate to showcase the people behind our coffee. There's a list of cafes in Australia that brew with Toby's Estate beans up for a vote, and it's up to you to cast a vote for your favourite. The winning cafe in each state will be honoured with the title of 2023 Octobysfest Local Legend and will be profiled in a full-length feature article right here on Concrete Playground.
Also, any entry puts you in the running to score your very own one-kilogram bag of Toby's Estate coffee, for which winners will be drawn weekly until the competitions end.
Voting for Toby's Estate Octobysfest Local Legends closes on Sunday, October 22. Finalists will be announced the following day, and winners on Thursday, October 26. To cast your vote, visit the website.
