Leonelli's Beach

Overview

Take a lift from the streets of Sorrento to the relaxing waters of Leonelli's Beach. For three generations, the Leonelli family have managed this bathing spot, sun terrace (which they refer to as the 'solarium'), and a bar and restaurant.

The beach is popular with families for its glassy wave-free waters and the delightful promenade of striped umbrellas, sunbeds and beach cabins, all available for rent. Take a dip, rent a canoe or a pedalo (pedal boat), or just sit back and enjoy the warm breeze, salt water and chatter of the local guests.

When you need refreshment, you'll find cocktails and fresh juices at the bar, with simple Italian sandwiches and pizzas for snacking. Or go the full seaside ristorante experience with white tablecloths, stemware and homemade pasta. Be warned: you'll pay waterfront prices for both options so you can always pack a slab of focaccia and be equally content.
