Overview

While Hotel Marmolada looks like a traditional alpine stay from the outside, its age-old conventions soon give way to contemporary design.

Modern embellishments include a wellness centre — complete with a Finnish sauna, steam room, pool and hot tubs — as well as a 900-bottle-strong wine cellar and upscale restaurant.

Fun fact: the hotel also has its own fossil museum.
