Overview

Let’s dance like there’s no tomorrow and help end world hunger! No, really.

The GVN Foundation is hosting the annual Eat So They Can Charity Ball at Te Papa this Saturday 18 October as part of a global effort to raise awareness for world hunger, with all of the proceeds going to established nutrition programs for children in Africa, Asia and the Americas.

Taking place on the international Eat So They Can weekend at Te Papa’s incredible Te Marae venue, the event is a wonderful excuse to dress to the nines, clink champagne glasses and get down with wonderfully like-minded folk, and all as a means of contributing to a massively important global cause.

A ticket for the evening includes wine and a three-course dinner, live entertainment, raffles and an art auction (because fancy). A ticket will only set you back $80, which isn’t half bad for a great night out along with all the good feels that are complimentary. The dress code is black tie, naturally, so dust off the ol’ party dress and shine up your dancing shoes for one helluva good cause.
