Overview

Women of Letters is a celebration of the lost art of letter writing but with a contemporary twist. Created by Marieke Hardy and Michaela McGuire in Melbourne back in 2010, it's become a firm favourite across the ditch.

What happens is five talented people such as writers, musicians, politicians or comedians write on the theme of ‘Letter To My Unanswered Question’. Previous events have covered such topics as from ‘The Night I’d Rather Forget’ to ‘The Moment It All Fell Apart’ or to ‘The Photo I Wish Had Never Been Taken.’ Then at the event they read their letters aloud to the audience. The Kiwi line-up is still under wraps but this is bound to be a night to remember.
