Converse “Sneakers Would” Secret Gig with Homebrew
With details of the gig thin on the ground, potential Sneakers Would attendees will have to keep a lookout for tickets cropping up in unexpected places.
Overview
To mark the launch of the Fall 2014 Converse All Star sneaker collection and the Sneakers Would initiative, Converse New Zealand will present two gigs in secret locations (well, not secret anymore, just announced at San Francisco Bathhouse). Having been fairly quiet since the release of their debut self-titled album, hip hop collective Homebrew will unite for a rare headline performance. They will be joined by Auckland punk-rock trio Rackets and Wellington beatmaker Race Banyon. A secret performance will also be held in Auckland.
Converse describe Sneakers Would as, "a series of provocative opportunities designed to encourage creative spirits to cast aside their inhibitions and choose an exciting, spur of the moment path."
