Peggy Gou, Foals, Wilkinson and Sub Focus Will Headline 2024's Two-Day Golden Lights Festival
The first festival of the 2024 summer season is doubling its fun, with A-Trak, Half Queen, ISOxo and Knock2 also on the lineup.
New Zealand's stacked summer concert schedule is filling up fast, and we've got a new one to add to your list: Golden Lights Music Festival 2024. The event's first lineup just been announced, with the January festival set to be held across two days on Thursday, January 4–Friday, January 5.
Returning to Auckland for its third year, 2024 Golden Lights will fall at a magic time of the summer — you've recovered from your New Years blowout, but you're not yet back at work so you're ready to keep the party going.
Day one of the festival will see the first-ever New Zealand performance for Peggy Gou, who has rocketed to fame with her banger '(It Goes Like) Nanana' (and has more than 175 million Spotify streams to prove it). The UK's Foals and Canadian DJ A-Trak will be joining Gou on the day-one lineup, alongside performances from local music producers Half Queen, Aunty El and Beccie B.
Day two will be headlined by the one and only Sub Focus with a DJ set, as well as his mate Wilkinson, aka two of the best in the drum-and-bass game. Joining the pair are up-and-coming trap artists ISOxo and Knock2 and, who will also be making their New Zealand debut. Wrapping it all up is EMWA, an Auckland-born and -bred DJ who has been going from strength to strength since her first release 'Crush' in 2021.
