With 80 percent of tickets snapped up before the first lineup drop, Rhythm and Vines has been one of the most anticipated events of festival season. 50 more international and local acts have now been announced, tipping the total number of acts performing at the three-day music and camping festival to over 100. And there's still more to come.

Joining already announced headline acts Vince Staples and Wilkinson Live will be Chicago rapper Juice WRLD, who is embarking on his first adventure down under to headline the first day on 29 December. The following night Miami-based rapper and producer Smokepurpp will headline the hip hop bill.

Also announced as part of the second lineup are Sydney songwriter Dean Lewis in his New Zealand debut, award-winning bass artists Friction, Liverpool producer and songwriter SG Lewis, Toronto-based alternative R&B act DVSN, London electronic duo Jack Beats, and plenty more.

New additions on the local front include Ian Munro, SWIDT, LA Women, N eo, Mild Orange and Mini Simmons. Over 60 Kiwi acts will perform at Rhythm and Vines this year.

More than 21,000 punters are expected across the three-day festival. A full schedule and final release of acts is due in November.
