If you've been waiting since 2019 for this show, we've got some bad news for you. UK grime act Stormzy has quietly pulled out of his Australasian tour this December, including his extremely long-awaited shows in Auckland and Wellington.

The chart-topper was finally set to return to Australia and New Zealand before the end of 2022 after his postponed 2020 tour was given a slew of new 2022 dates. The H.IT.H World Tour was set to make stops in Perth, Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne and Adelaide, before hitting Wellington's TSB Arena on Saturday, December 10 and concluding at Auckland's Trusts Arena on Sunday, December 11.

But in an announcement on Thursday, September 29, Stormzy pulled out of all his Australasian stops. In a release accompanying the news from Australian music festival Spilt Milk, the 'Vossi Bop', 'Own It' and 'Crown' hitmaker said he was cancelling the tour due to circumstances beyond his control.

"It is with the heaviest of hearts that I have to inform you guys that I must cancel international commitments for the remainder of the year which includes my Australian and New Zealand tour," he said in a statement.

"You guys have waited so patiently and I am so sorry that this has to happen after all these ups and downs. I love you guys and I promise I will be back as soon as I can with a show that's bigger and better than ever."

The Ticket Master NZ website confirms the tour has been cancelled.
