Overview

Take it back to your student flat, to the days of sitting around with a bunch of friends, good music and good coffee. This is Raglan Roast, they're taking it back to the golden days. An icon of Wellington, this is the original of the two flagships in the city.

Out the back of Abel Smith Street, the guys at Raglan Roast started in the back of their kite surfing shop up in Raglan, with just a coffee machine and their own beans. They're now bringing great coffee at better prices to every hung-over student and overloaded business man in Welly.

It's the $3 flat whites and massive Einstein mural that sets Raglan apart. The coffee is smooth, it's brewed with dedication and you can expect consistently good coffee and good chat. In the last 16 years they've taken the New Zealand coffee scene by storm, hiding themselves away in places only coffee enthusiasts braving the Wellington wind will find. Raglan Roast has an elusive way of making you feel at home.
