Overview

Spring Break, the ironic retro-pop project of Ryan McPhun (from the Ruby Suns) and James Dansey (of The Sneaks), will be back in the country after both starting fresh abroad. Ian "Blink" Jorgenson, the man behind Wellington venue Puppies and the A Low Hum title, has capitalised on the pair's short visit by getting them back together for a one-off show in Vogeltown.

Together with a solid line-up of Wellington acts (namely Race Banyon, Jon Lemmon and Distasteradio), Spring Break will take the stage at the Vogelmorn Hall.

In line with the wisdom found in his new book, Blink is hosting the event in the hall so "people can save money not being forced to pay too much for drinks," and "making the price of the show more economically viable so bands can actually make money from playing."

Attendees are also encouraged to bring whatever snacks and beverages they want and to carpool home from the gig.
