Overview

A fresh exhibition looking at the role, words play in our everyday life. A collection of young artists explore the art of words and the way we interact with them. The ease with which we use them, the fluidity of art and the impact we can have, it's all illustrated in artwork by emerging artists, including Holly Manning, Sarah Gardenier, Danielle Sowden, George Staniland and Tesha Lua.

The week at Raglan Roast brings life to Wellington's favourite coffee shop. Events throughout the exhibition make art accessible to those from all corners of the capital city. In understanding other's interpretation of words and art, the world becomes a creative place. Alligator Pears gives you the chance to open yourself to this.

Opening night sees a performance by Hannah Beatrice at 7pm.

Bryce Galloway takes a free zine workshop on Thursday 6th, 6.00pm - 8.00pm

Found Poetry workshop Friday 7th, 5.00pm-9.00pm.
