Find yourself at a loss for weekend plans after the tragic postponing of the city's annual pre-Christmas sesh 'Beers at the Basin'? The team at St Johns Bar and Eatery have saved the day with their own version — and it's just as beer-soaked, albeit a bit smaller.
On Saturday, December 11, St Johns is putting on 'Beers on the Lawn', a day to kick back in the sun on their famous giant grassed area.
Celebrate the incoming silly season with live music, food trucks, games and offerings from some of the best breweries in the area, including Tuatara, Parrot Dog and Native. The weather is meant to pack it in on Saturday evening, so we'd recommend getting in there earlier in the arvo to really get your money's worth.
Tickets are $30 per person, with two sessions available to book: 12-3 and 4-7. Clear your calendar of Christmas shopping plans, grab some mates, and get some practice in before Beers at the Basin resumes next year.
