Overview

Beervana might not be able to fly in international brewers this year, but organisers have still managed to wrangle more than 60 top beer makers to pour the goods. The 2020 edition of the epic beer festival is set to take place at Sky Stadium on 20–21 November.

Good beer is the main attraction, and this year an emphasis will be on community collaboration and celebrating the immense depth of talent within the Wellington region. Drops on show will come from Whangarei to Invercargill and everywhere in between, with lemongrass, lychees and durian all finding their way into featured concoctions. There's no better place to ride the frothy wave — or at least try something totally bonkers.

As per usual, there'll be outrageous brewery displays, karaoke vans, face painting stations, live entertainment, low 'n' slow barbecue and crayfish cheese rolls — it's a veritable wonderland for beer lovers.
