Just when you thought you'd seen it all, a Wellington performance troupe come along with a contemporary circus show merging life and laundry.
Dipping into the unknown of the washing world, Between the Lines will use the stages of a laundry cycle to explore domesticity, femininity, bodies, renewal and life in the Wellington wind.
Fusing circus, poetry, dance and more, the show utilises a variety of purpose-built laundry-themed sets for the cast of Tess Munro Pedreros, Andrea Knox, Evelyn Coulson to hang, spin, flip and dance on. The tricks will be interspersed with lyrical narration from Wellington performance poet Genevieve Fowler.
