Overview

Bombay Sapphire is no stranger to immersive "ginstromony" experiences. The gin brand has previously hosted everything from boozy sit-down dinners to interactive avant-garde art galleries.

In 2021, it's asking Kiwis to unleash their creativity in the comfort of their own home via a collection of at-home experiences. Each workshop as part of The Creativity Lab is hosted by New Zealand-based artists and has been curated to allow participants to uncover hidden talents and experiment whilst sipping on their own cocktail creation.

That could mean joining fragrance expert Rosie Holt to blend your very own scent; making your own gin-jelly creation with jelly artist Jess Mentis; exploring the medium of watercolour while downing an edible paint cocktail with Paintvine; or sculpting your own clay candlestick holder with artist and designer Olivia Dobrowolski.

After purchasing a lab kit for your chosen experience, you'll receive all the supplies to participant in live-streamed classes from the comfort of home. There'll also be ingredients to create a cocktail, inspired by each craft.

The at-home kits for The Creativity Lab are $40 for two people and can be purchased through Black Pineapple. The sessions will run from Wednesday, 10 to Saturday, 20 February, 2021.
