Overview

Passion meets wine at the one-day Budburst Natural Wine Festival, which returns for its third year in the capital.

Happening across the Boatshed and Rowing Club on Wellington's waterfront this November, the festival is made possible by a group of enthusiastic Wellingtonians, and will showcase wines made strictly from organically or biodynamically grown grapes. With quality being the main focus of the day, you are sure to be spoilt for choice.

You'll be able to sample some incredibly well made, organic wines and have the opportunity to chat to the producers, who will happily answer any questions you may have.

In addition to natural vino, there will be local kai from Egmont Street Eatery, live music on the main stage and masterclasses coordinated by the team at Wine Sentience. Wine Sentience is also sponsoring the pop-up wine bar that follows their hugely popular SOIF series of wine events designed around pouring selection of single bottles of rare and hard to source wines, often brought to New Zealand in a suitcase.

Early bird tickets are $40, with full-priced tickets selling at $50. Last minute plans more your style. Door sales tickets will be available on the day at $60.
