Chocolate Lovers Easter High Tea

Cosy cocktail bar The Library has served up themed teas spanning everything from Harry Potter to Jane Austin and Christmas. This April, it's dedicating an entire afternoon to chocolate.

Just in time for the Easter long weekend, the Chocolate Lovers High Tea will line up tiers of decadent chocolate-inspired treats and cocktails. In the savoury department there'll be finger sandwiches filled with cocoa-dusted roast beef and eggplant caponata served with Whittaker's dark chocolate. The headlining sweet tier will be loaded with everything from chocolate lamingtons and hot cross bun doughnuts to salted caramel chocolate tarts and mini caramel easter eggs.

While all of the above will set you back $39, you can add on a decadent cocktail for an additional ten bucks. Take your pick from a blood orange vodka creation served in a chocolate egg, a boozy tequila and 'Smoke & Fire' turmeric sour with a chocolate hazelnut butter spoon, or an affogato with espresso ice cream, Baileys foam and a warm shot of Cointreau hot chocolate on the side. Additional cocktails are priced individually.
