Overview

Don't hang your festival hat yet.

Over the weekend of March 24 and 25, the capital city's quirkiest quarter will be bustling with live music, immersive performance, installation art, mouth-watering street food and that staple Cuba Street creative spirit.

The iconic Cuba Street and surrounding laneways will be turned into a vibrant street party; encouraging good cheer and innovation as well as supporting top-notch local talent and special international guests.

The extraordinary street event CubaDupa attracts thousands of people every year, and this year the festival boasts another blockbuster program. The weekend will be filled with dance workshops, flash mobs, comedy dynamos, SFX demonstrations, circus stars and killer tunes from musical champs like Albi and the Wolves and the Richter City Rebels.

Kids can enjoy Capital E workshops on Leeds Street while adults can soak it all in with a bevvy from some of our coolest brewers. Plus you may come across some wandering alien junk monsters or find yourself involved in a colourful street parade.

Check out the full program now to plan out your epic experience of art and wonderful. There is never a dull moment at CubaDupa. Festivities kick off Saturday 24 March from midday-midnight and continue on Sunday 25 March from 11am-6pm.

Dancing in the streets is encouraged.
