Overview

They say the human mind can imagine anything; except for new faces. In the newest exhibition to take Thistle Hall, 1000 people from across the country bring their talents together. They've illustrated 1000 new faces. Or more specifically – new interpretations of old faces.

The project, born from a desire to create courage and curiosity, saw artists old and young picking up a ballpoint pen and taking a small bit significant moment (two minutes) and drawing one another's faces.

The collaboration, two years in the making, has shed a light on how we see one another as human beings. The movement has expanded our horizons on what we define as art.

If you haven't had the chance to put pen to paper, this week's exhibition opening at Thistle Hall is another opportunity to get your creative juices flowing and contribute to one of the country's most widespread art projects.
