Overview
Estère is playing at Caroline this Friday to celebrate the first part of her new divided-in-two album, My Design. The first instalment of My Design was released in October, with the second and final part scheduled for next March.
Self-written, recorded and produced by Estère over the past few years between touring the United Kingdom, Africa and Europe, the first mini record is a brilliant body of work from the self-styled queen of Electric Blue Witch-Hop. Leading with the digital dystopia single 'Pro Bono Techno Zone', these tracks will get you dancing and moving with their electronic beats, succulent bass atop weighty drums, contrasted with warm acoustic/percussive textures.
Wellington is her hometown, so this will be a special show. Support from Jon Lemmon.
