Overview

Nothing says Christmas Eve like settling down to watch one of your favourite films with a few mates or your family. This December 24, join Roxy Cinema in Miramar to catch the screening of Gremlins, in celebration of the film being released 35 years ago.

One of the most popular films from the 80s, Gremlins blends comedy and horror and a few decades on is still considered a Christmas classic. Directed by Joe Dante, it tells the story of the creatures known as gremlins — the small, mischievous, destructive monsters — as they wreak havoc on the town of Kingston Falls.

Your ticket for $25 includes your seat, two Christmas mince pies and a themed cocktail or mocktail designed by mixologist Ray Letoa. Doors open at 7.15pm with the film starting at 7.40pm. All ages are welcome so make it a family night out — but be warned the little ones may leave the cinema worried about gremlins under their bed.
