With Wellington On a Plate looming around every corner of the Capital City, the choice can be hard. Georgia's Canteen presents you something a little relaxed, a quick outing for the family and a feel-good event. Stories Espresso Bar teams up with some of the coolest kids in town to create a pop-up canteen on Victoria St. The collaboration arises with the dudes at ParrotDog and the fresh chefs from Burger Liquor. What sets this pop-up apart is that all of the proceeds go to Zeal and the generous work they do with the young people of Wellington.

The canteen stays true to its name, with a queue to choose your treats before paying and proceeding through to the backroom seating. You'll have a chance to indulge in all sorts; a sneaky beer, Karma Cola ribs or the classic mac 'n' cheese. A more low-key WOAP event, the place is buzzing with after work drinks and communal, laughing tables. It's a good cause with good food, not much more you could ask for.
