Overview

What is better than the Botanic Garden during the day? The Botanic Garden at night. In the dark. Glowing. Get amongst nature with the Glow in the Dark tour, where you can be amazed by the endless collection of glow worms that call the local garden home. You’ll be able to get up close and personal with the little luminous guys, and their glowing webs that they use to capture prey.

If you don’t already know a lot about the insect, the tour will be a chance for you to learn all about glow worms and how they live. Turns out glow worms are not actually worms at all. They are the larvae of certain beetles and flies, and they stop glowing once they mature.

If you didn't know that, you’re welcome.
