Overview

The Harold is a longform improvised three-act play created by master comedy teacher Del Close. The spontaneous show is the go-to concept of Chicago theatre company iO (Improv Olympic), which has turned out big time celebs - Tina Fey, Stephen Colbert and Mike Meyers.

For the first time, the show will be attempted at the New Zealand Improv Festival. The performance will be directed by iO alumnus Lori Leigh with Wellington theatre group PlayShop stepping up to the plate to make up an hour's worth of content on the spot.
