A series of kid-friendly cooking tutorials from one of Auckland's best chefs.

Sid and Chand Sahrawat are the names behind three of Auckland's best restaurants. With Sid at The French Cafe, Sidart and Cassia locked down for at least the next few weeks, the esteemed restaurateurs are taking their talents online for a series of kid-friendly cooking tutorials.

Chef Sid is reactivating his old Hospobaby pages for the duration of the COVID-19 lockdown to provide a range of mouthwatering recipes. Cooking clearly runs in the family; the tutorials are also led by eight-year-old Zoya, with cameo appearances from four-year-old Roan.

Together the Sahrawats will teach you how to prepare sticky master stock pork ribs with kimchi, baked beans, bacon and bagels with feijoa crumble to finish, Balinese chicken with cucumber and mint salad, plus mushroom and prosciutto pizza.

The videos will be uploaded at midday every Wednesday in April. Check out the recipes here and grab what you need from the supermarket in anticipation.
