Overview

Napier post-rock trio Jakob, will celebrate the release of their long-overdue second album Sines with a tour around the country.

The six-date outing will be the first time the thunderous, instrumental three-piece has performed since an injury prompted an eight-year hiatus from the stage. It will kick off in the band’s hometown at The Cabana, before continuing through Wellington, Christchurch, Port Chalmers, Auckland and Leigh.

Sines, the follow-up to their 2006 album Solace was recorded between Auckland’s Roundhead Studios and Sister Lung Studios in Napier, and will be released on October 17, 2014.
