International soul singers Joss Stone and India.Arie will join forces for two shows in New Zealand this April off the back of the Byron Bay Bluesfest.
The shows, held at Auckland's Vector Arena on Friday 25 April and Wellington's Michael Fowler Centre on Sunday 27 April, 2014, will mark the first ever visit to our shores for India.Arie, as well as being her first foray back into music after a self-imposed four-year hiatus.
Over her fourteen year career Arie has been nominated for a massive 21 Grammy Awards, won four and has sold over 10 million albums. She released her new album 'Songversation' last year.
Joss Stone’s resume reads like someone far beyond her ripe age of 26. Her six albums, the first released when she was 16, have notched up over 14 million album sales and seen her collaborate with the likes of James Brown, Gladys Knight, Blondie, Smokey Robinson, Jeff Beck, Ringo Starr and the list goes on.
