Overview

Roller skates were first used in 1743 on a London stage production (the inventor of said skates still unknown to this day), but it wasn't until around 1935 when the shoes-on-wheels creation took off and become a thing in the States and later the world. The trend didn't wear off, with disco roller rinks in the '70s and in-line outdoor roller skating in the '90s reviving the hype.

For those who somehow missed out on the greatest activity of a 90s childhood (besides mastering cartwheels and making faux-Rorschach paintings in art class), we've found you a means to redeem your shame: a course in roller skating with a few basic tricks chucked in to help impress your friends.

The classes are all ages, and $90 for the term, if you don't have your roller skates, and $72 if you do.
