Overview

It's been over a decent two years since New Zealand band Leisure slinked into the spotlight and became a name worth respecting in the music world with their self-titled debut album. Their album won the praises of critics such as Pigeons and Planes and their single 'Got It Bad' racked up just under 12 million plays on Spotify.

The band is now back with its sophomore album to further delight the ears of patient and eager fans. To put it in the words of Leisure, "It's been something like 700 days since we released our debut album — admittedly we had no idea what we were making, or how we were doing it, the only certainty was that the combination of the creative energies when we were all in a room was a feeling none of us had felt before. Over the past year or so we've been capturing new moments from new places for the next collection of Leisure songs…"

To mark the release of their album, Leisure will be playing two shows in Auckland and Wellington.
