A Silver Scroll finalist and an internationally acclaimed Weissenborn player will perform together for the free outdoor concert series Meridian Magic Gardens.
Since being accepted into the esteemed Red Bull Music Academy, the soulful Louis Baker has released an EP, a 7" record and toured Scotland, Spain, Hungary, Australia and England. He also managed to write one of the top five New Zealand songs for 2014.
Multi-instrumentalist Thomas Oliver is known for his skills as a Weissenborn lap slide guitarist. In his spare time he fronts rootsy blues group, the Thomas Oliver Band, and lends his vocals to those in the electronic world. He’s currently in the process of finishing off a new album.
