Overview

With their new album Vindication Blues in tow, Lyttelton via Auckland band Luckless will play four shows around the country’s main centres.

Luckless is the project of songwriter Ivy Rossiter and her longtime drummer Logan Compain. A move from Auckland to the port town of Lyttelton, led Rossiter to write and record eleven new tracks, which are based around “the feeling of despondency or despair experienced when one’s pessimistic predictions have been proven to be true.”

On tour the band will expand to a four piece including Rob Collins on bass (Dictaphone Blues, Heavy Jones Trio) and Ben Eldridge on guitar (Warlords Of Atlantis, Heavy Jones Trio).

Special guests include Pales and The Body Lyre.
