Overview

Parris Goebel was born to dance. She and her Palace Dance Studio crews have won multiple World Dance Hip Hop championships and put Polyswagg, a crossbred of hip hop and traditional polynesian dancing, on the map. In the last few years Parris has choreographed for Jennifer Lopez and Cirque du Soleil as well as starred in US dance film Step Up: All In.

Her latest show titled Goldmynd sold out in Auckland in July and is coming to Wellington audiences this week. The performance sees Parris as a 13-year-old giving herself 11 pieces of advice for the future. Each pearl of wisdom is brought to life through colour and dance by The Royal Family, Parris' Palace Dance Studio mega crew.
