Overview

It's been one heck of a year for Parrotdog. The two Matts headed south, away from the comforts of inner city Wellington and their long-time crafty fans. Setting up shop in Lyall Bay could have been a risky move, but the Bitterbitch brewers found their niche beside the sea. One year later — it's time to celebrate their first birthday.

Craft beer isn't always family friendly, but Parrotdog is offering something for everyone at their birthday party. For the little ones, expect a popcorn machine and face painting. As if that wasn't enough for your tiny tiger, Parrotdog's splashed out on a bouncy castle for the day – just make sure the kids bounce before they eat.

For those over 18, the birthday boys will be hosting brewery tours between 11–5pm, but that's not all. Offering spot prizes to their biggest fans, live entertainment all day and a not-to-be-missed after-party featuring Sky Canvas it's going to be Lyall Bay's most memorable first birthday party ever. But wait, there's more. Parrotdog couldn't let down their beer sampling fans, especially on their birthday, so they'll be releasing a special birthday beer to commemorate the day.

Make sure you're there — entry is free.
