They’ve toured the world twice over since the release of their sophomore album Harlequin Dream, but this September Australian indie-rock/folk band Boy & Bear will jump across the pond for two dates in New Zealand.

The band made up of David Hosking (vocals and guitar), Killian Gavin (vocals and guitar), David Symes (bass), Tim Hart (drums) and Jonathan Hart (banjo, mandolin and keyboards) have released two albums since their inception in 2009. Both their debut 2011 release, Moonfire, and last year’s, Harlequin Dream, managed to scoop the band time in top ten of the Australian album chart, the latter album claiming Gold certification and debuting at #1 on the ARIA charts.

The five-piece were last in New Zealand to use the stunning Queenstown as the backdrop for their video ‘Southern Sun’.
