The group formerly known as Funkommunity will play Wellington's Bodega on Friday, September 12. The two head honchos of Sorceress are vocalist Rachel Fraser and producer/band leader, Isaac Aesili. Their debut album Chequered Thoughts gained critical acclaim around the world following its release in 2012 and saw them jump on the band-wagon throughout Europe and Japan. On their current album Dose, Sorceress explore more directions in the realm of soul-electronica.
They will be supported by Brockaflower, a nine-piece neo-soul powerhouse with hip hop influences.
