PechaKucha
Twenty stories in twenty slides from Wellington's most inspirational folk.
Overview
PechaKucha, which means 'chatter' in Japanese, is all about gathering creative locals and international to share ideas, stories, experiences and thoughts. The presentations are given in a fast paced ‘PechaKucha 20 x 20 format’, where each presenter has 20 images but only has 20 seconds per image, making the total presentation time 6 mins, 40 seconds.
They’ve brought in a range of presenters who will be talking (very quickly no doubt) about the Seed Project in Mexico, Water Sensitive Urban Design and #whywellington, plus many more. Read some more about the confirmed speakers here.
Held at the Hannah Playhouse, the show starts at 7pm, but the bar opens at 5.30pm (neat). Tickets are on sale now or you can gamble it all and get door tickets.
