Looking for a simply fabulous way to spend an afternoon? Look no further than QT Wellington's new Pride High Tea, set to run weekends throughout March at the hotel's "Parisian-chic" bar Hippopotamus.

The flamboyant, floral cocktail bar is known for being distinctly unsubtle at the best of times, but they're really turning things up a notch with this weekly soiree — when we say rainbow, we mean it.

From $49 per person, guests will enjoy delicious and brightly coloured morsels like rainbow pavlova, smoked salmon and burnt orange cream blinis, pink macarons, and lots of fruity treats.

The festivities kick off at 2pm every Saturday and Sunday throughout March, with local drag queens Amanduh La and Kola Gin set to dine with guests on Saturday, March 19 and Sunday, March 27.
