Overview

It’s been one year since DIY music aficionado Ian ‘Blink’ Jorgenson closed the doors of his beloved Wellington venue Puppies.

Since then, he’s released a book outlining the problems within the New Zealand music scene and how to fix them, given wind of an alternate music royalty payment system, made a movie, released a photo journal spanning 15 years of music, held several parties, and launched his own inclusive music award format.

Not one to waste a spare nanosecond, Blink has announced he will return to the venue formerly known as Puppies to throw a weekend-long party. Details of the artist line-up are thin on the ground, but we can tell you that attendees are welcome to bring their own snacks and beverages since the venue isn't licensed anymore.
