Silent Disco Glow-in-the-Dark Home Edition

Overview

Inspired by the Māori lunar calendar, Papaya Stories' Silent Disco Citywalk typically sees attendees hit the streets for a 60-minute multi-sensory experience. Amid the COVID-19 lockdown, the travelling silent disco is heading indoors.

The at-home edition will feature all the usual elements of the citywalk, including themed music, jokes, positive affirmations and narration from Darth Vader. Participants will be guided by dance instructors across the 20-minute online interactive music and dance session.

The virtual parties run every Saturday with two options from 7.30–7.55pm and 8–8.30pm. All you need to participate is a pair of headphones, phone or laptop. Dressing up to the glow-in-the-dark theme is also highly encouraged. The dance is limited to 25 people. Click here to join register.
