Overview

It's been a hella good last few weeks for the Aussie quintet Sticky Fingers after getting three nods on the Triple J hottest 100 list (#20 - 'Gold Snafu' #86 - 'Just For You' and #94 - 'Liquorlip Loaded Gun') and selling out their Australian tour before even announcing it.* Now the Sydney surf band are coming to New Zealand in February.

Sticky Fingers formed after the group of friends met a 15 year old Dylan Frost busking outside a pub in Sydney. Their mash up sound has been labelled by some as "psychotic surf/dub love songs", the band's lyrical wheelhouse mostly involving songs about break ups, getting high and feeling low; the things they know best.

Considering the stupidly successful Land of Pleasures is only their sophomore record, the band will be taking a little amble across the antipodes and then head straight back into the studio to record their next album.

*Note: it was announced, but without any paid promotion.
