Overview

Honestly, summer seems to have skipped straight over the North Island this year, but we're still holding out hope for a few good days spent in the sunshine with friends. To celebrate a (hopefully) warm autumn, annual Saturday sesh Summer at the Basin is giving us something to look forward to. On the lineup: a mix of good drinks, great vibes, live music and delicious food from local vendors.

Come Saturday, March 4, the Wellington Basin will be filled with local vendors pouring some of their best drops, including Fortune Favours, Morningcider, Native Sparkling and Matahiwi Estate. There will also be speciality champagne, gin and cocktail bars to mix things up,

Getting hungry? There will be plenty of food trucks slinging delicious eats to keep those stomachs lined, including local legends Rosie's Cantina, Roy's Dumplings, Choice Bros and more. And the best part — no food items will set you back more than $12.

To keep the vibes high a lineup of New Zealand musicians will take to the stage, including Wellington-born and raised Louis Baker and headliners Zed — time to refresh your knowledge of the lyrics to 'Renegade Fighter'.

Taking place from 11am-7pm on Saturday, March 4, GA tickets are on sale now for $35. If you feel like opting for a particularly luxe experience, nab a VIP table of 10 for $790.
