Overview

Formality is pressed upon us past our table manners. This exhibition, with a collection of artists at different stages, sees this formality in painting and beyond. The artists are using a range of formalist approaches in their work. The art is in some ways stripped back to it's fundamentals of light and colour. The collection of young artists include, Hugh Chesterman, Tyler Jackson, Sarah Louise Keber, Patrick Lundberg, Simon Morris, Shaun Waugh and Laura Woodward.

The debut exhibition is christening the new space on Egmont Street, Playstation. The space is a new, artist-run initiative offering a space for artists and art lovers to come together. Table Manners is an unruly look at formalism and how it runs past these systematical engagements.

Opening night runs from 5.30pm - 8.3opm on October 6th.
