It's only right that Pickle & Pie, Wellington's recently-opened New York-style deli should hold a Thanksgiving dinner this week. It's the day where you count your blessings, not your calories — so come Thursday the deli counter will be heaving. Roast turkey will be in attendance, as will stuffing, lashings of cranberry jelly, and of course, pumpkin pie.
Pickle & Pie are also offering the option to preorder a pumpkin pie ($48) or an entire cooked turkey ($100) if you're holding your own Thanksgiving celebration (we're predicting Friendsgiving dinners are about to get trendy).
It's a great excuse to get in a practise run for Christmas and have a day of festive eating.
